The WC Edition of our A12 FlexBumper is the final version of the test part that Max Mächler used in his IFMAR World Championship winning A12! With an increased width of 18mm and extended depth of 4mm we achieved a way better support for the bodyshells, which plays a key role when using the popular ultra-light versions.
Actually this new style bumper takes over the role for the front body height adjustment , as the bodyshell rests completely on the bumper itself! With the three included spacers (1.0mm / 1.5mm / 2.0mm) it’s rather easy to get the height setting perfect. Just place them under the bumper, directly on the Carbon Bumper plate of the A12!
At our tests in Europe and in the United States we found that these three different thickness spacer are suitable to get the correct bodyshell height settings by either using a single piece or stacking them up. We imprinted the thickness at different spots on each spacer to have a quick and easy count for the overall thickness when looking from above!
The MXLR FlexBumper is 3D printed with thermoplastic polyurethane for the optimal strength and flexibility!
You may ask what are the advantages over foam bumpers? We can answer that:
– absorbs hits better and doesn’t transfer them as much into the chassis structure
– more robust and sturdy
– it always goes back to original shape and don’t drag on the floor after a crash
– improved style/optics 🙂

MXLR FlexBumper = ~5,0g.
Original Kit Bumper = ~3,5g.
Installation / Mounting tip:
We recommend to remove the SH1.5mm alloy spacer between the C1205 Suspension plate and the C1204 Bumper plate. By this the Bumper plate will sit higher and is less prone for rubbing.
Use the different height printed spacers to adjust the FlexBumper height and by this the front bodyshell height.

Returns
We don't manage the stock in our warehouse or factory. The actual stock levels can fluctuate at any point. It is possible that stocks could be depleted after your order has been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If it's been more 30 days since the date you made your purchase, we unfortunately can't give you a full refund or exchange.
You can only return a product when it's unopened and still in the same condition as when you first received it. You must have the item in its original packaging.
